Hmm just a minor note to be pedantic. If it's our trade in 2425 that counts, or whenever our last turn was if the game finishes before then, then it means that if we win in the 2424 council then we effectively lose a turn where our trade could have increased. That, or play for an extra 25 turns until the 2449 council to get the slightly higher trade amount in 2425. I hope nobody's scores are that close together, but maybe this should be considered in future scoring (i.e. that it should be in 2424, 2449, 2474, etc. instead of 2425, 2450, 2475 etc. because the council takes place a year ahead, and our last data would be from just before council).

The Planets screen shows what is going to happen when I push the next turn button and not what actually happened the previous turn, does it not? Therefore, my interpretation of the scoring was that I was to take what the Planets screen shows on 2424 as my trade income, as that's what was going to happen for 2525. This also means the scoring would not be affected if the game ended with the 2425 council. I've already played through, but since I'm using Kyrub's patch I can easily go back to the auto-generated save for 2525 and grab my numbers if my interpretation is not correct.

Though as you say, hopefully our scores aren't so close that any of this really matters. smile

Yeah ... I was "rushing it out the door" so to speak, so I wound up just using the same scoring date as I did for the previous Imperium without putting a lot of thought into when the best date would be. Technically this does mean the relevant trade numbers are the ones from 2425 - immediately AFTER the council vote if no winner is declared. Sorry about the confusion/uncertainty!

Odd; it's gotten "lost" twice now. The forum still shows it as uploaded, but thinks it's attached to some other random thread (where I haven't even posted). Hopefully this link will work:

My apologies for the save attachment problems - let me know if you still can't download it!
