[SPOILERS] Aurorarcher is fumbling around with his civ

I think Sian got Archery recently which means attacking him is a no-no nono. I should keep him thinking that I'd attack him though. He still doesn't have a 2nd city. I could instead attack Jowy and reach his capital on T41 with 3 axes. I doubt he has Copper connected even by then. He doesn't have a 2nd city either so he's most likely building settler atm. I put 10 EPP on him on T34 so I can get graphs on T35 to make sure my assumptions. I should also settle my 3rd city close to horses before Sian can do that.

Pics to come later.

So attack against Jowy got cancelled actually. While I think I could at least cripple and possibly even eliminate Jowy, but I won't get that much out of the whole thing. And while I'd be busy with Jowy Sian could grow stronger, same with AT. So I decided not to do that. Instead I'm trying to protect the horse and settle it for myself! I can't do all the things I'd want to... this map is just so tight (as it should be). I think that here EXP/IMP is really good for me, while the map is so small we will definitely not last till later eras so IMP/EXP will payoff nicely for me.

I'm researching Myst + Poly now for Hindiusm, and if I'm lucky I'll get the Holy city in my newest city (which I am going to place 1W of the axe currently). The smallest city in the empire should have the highest likelihood to get the holy city. I'm slowbuilding settler in cap now, but even at size 2 I can build it in 5 turns (Copper + wet Wheat). Gotta love IMP here!

Ok so not much reporting, well... I guess there's a reason for that? rolleye

Anyway, here are some pics from some turns I remembered to screenshot something.

So the "hot" war between me and Sian has been going for almost 50 turns now. Sian just got Copper connected by quickly planting his city on the copper and then whipping an Axe with a promotion (Ikhada), well... that's a shame but at least the city is garbage untill it can pop it's borders. So yeah I had to escape...

... and then we got this interesting situation lol. I blocked Sian's Axe to move any further without losing his too. I also settled, ehm... a terrible city on the Bananas. The city won't do anything else than give me Horses and deny it from Sian. At least the city gets +3f from the city tile and some nice nice hammers from the Horses. Otherwise the city is just junk. I could've settled it 1N to get Corn but I wanted to grab horses in the first ring quickly and also make it impossible for Sian to settle on the forest tile 1S of the horses. At least I can get Horse Archers later if I want to.

It's been fun so far I guess. I'm so lost in the BtS tech tree though shhh. I was considering Oracle for a while (I put 39b to Priestood untill Jowy nabbed both Stonehenge + Oracle in 3 turns IIRC. He must've chopped the Oracle obviously.

Just finished Writing on current turn T53. I am also somehow having trade connection with AT, he must have researched Sailing because otherwise I don't see how it would be possible. Me and AT have 3 cities, Jowy and Sian are at 2 still.

Update? Okay, you get a few pics...

First, I was able to bring enough troops to raze Sian's Copper city.

Forgot next pic but yeah it got razed, Sian whipped 1 archer to it IIRC.

Then I managed to lure Sian's last Axe out of his capital, and I killed it.

Right now his capital has 2 archer + scout. No whips yet more. I can't really take it even with 3 axe + chariot (one is badly injuried). I might just wait for swords to finish Sian since I just got IW and I have Iron inside my borders.

In other news AT just built TGL, good for him but I don't think it'll be that good in this map. Maybe he has some islands nearby more than I do?

Yeah, my cap was on a little peninsula with 2 other crappy spots near it and a bunch of little islands - everything was coastal. Jowy had a landlocked cap. Odd map, but I kind of liked it.
