I am of the opinion, that I do not believe that it is helpful for the game environment and enjoyment if we let people get away with gaining advantages from double moving (intentionally or unintentionally).

Double moving is there to speed up the flow of the game and the turn pace, not for gaining a turn order advantage. If a player is being double moved and asks for re-establishing the originial turn order, then this should be respected in my opinion (and luckily with Ramks power and lurker judgement we have the power to do so).
Having to judge if SD knew (assumed) being in a settler race is guesswork at best and is not a reliable basis for such a decision in my eyes.

Yes, the rules governing this are whack. Still, it's the rules.

Whenever their shortcomings are made manifest in game there are discussions and recriminations about them which never hae any consequences when the next game is set up.
