going to make an big update in a few turns (on t75, played t70 earlier today with me being last in line)
have met everyone on the other continent and next turn i'm going to get trade routes with Mack, and if i counted right then i'm proving round world at the end of t72, and have open borders with all three, this together with Currency that means i have a good GNP.
I Have 10 cities (one of them a fishing village on a small island connecting to a large resourcerich tundra island to the west of me), and are breaking even on 50%, so i'm going to settle new cities in t71 (center of the continent grabbing rice, banana, stone and Marble), and t73 (northern egde of the Jungle areas, connecting my frontal cities) and one which is either going to be on a similar island as the current island city, but to the north, or grabbing all out to the coast on the continent.
At the same time i've just connected Gems, and are roading my way to the gold i grabbed next to Musicman, so i'm growing vertically for a bit, while my workers are going to clear jungle
Current tech target is CoL, which is finishing at the end of t71 (or was it t72? ... anyhows), both to grab the religion (all three early game religions was on the other continent) and to get cheap courthouses ... they're not terribally needed at the moment, but they'll still cut off a good ~3-4g in maintainence each turn, next tech after CoL is likely going to be Calender to hook up Silk, Spice, Banana and Dye, for even more vertical growth. Not that hot on getting MoM through ... specially since i'm relatively late for Calender, and i know at least 3 others have it (as per resource trade screens)
Got 2 big Hammer cities (14h and 11h, both with reasonable room to grow onto even more hammer and they have the food to support it) which are doing most of the legwork to get Settlers, due to IMP (growing on military), while my food heavy'ish cities (which for most part doubles as Commence heavy'ish) are focusing on workers
