[PB59] Ichabod realizes Civ 4 PB is for closers only

I decided to pick fishing, and I aim to whip the WB in the second city. Since we went BW and slavery this early, lets whip. Third city will likely be share corn + sheep and copper.

I'd say Thoth stole my union job but I had no idea what the answer was so probably shouldn't.

So, what happened this past turn:

*I logged in (Jowy and I left to play) and started to think about if I wanted to build a warrior or a WB next, with the overflow from the settler. I was slow to play this turn because I couldn't decide what to do. I left the city on the warrior, when prompted.

*My lunch arrived, I stopped to eat and think.

*Got caught up with other stuff and kept thinking. Decided to go with the WB.

*Come back to the game, I'm still logged in from before leaving to lunch.

*I close 2 pop-ups from players that couldn't log in while I was logged in as well.

*For whatever reason, I click on the big red button (or maybe enter, I don't know) before I change city to the WB.

*Turn ends.

*All my planning goes to waste.  banghead

Well, the warrior is not so bad and perhaps safer, but I'm a bit annoyed nonetheless...

Since when has not knowing the answer mattered on the internet?

That serendipitous Warrior will end up saving us before the game is over. Let's make him into a GG at the first opportunity.

I haven't seen a good warrior rush in a long time.

Well, given the first RB warrior rush started on a donut, poor Mortius frown

And Ichabod was tempted by the demons of war, offering images of a second Capital, with bountiful cottageable lands...

But the devil has insidious ways. The true temptation was that of the micro-plan, which led to pride and illusions of grandeur.

Ichabod resisted the demons and kept head strong in his path to casual mediocrity.

I can't get carried away with this game, it won't be healthy. Keep decision time to a minimum. I don't need to be a contender.

But I can have a nice thread. Here's some vintage pictures of the players that named my first two cities:
