For some reason I had it in my head that someone else couldn't make September 1st, but after looking through the thread, it looks like I was mistaken. So let's move this so Gaspar can make it.
Draft Date/Time: Sunday September 1st 10PM EDT
Other random things:
* I see some objections to the "home team bonus" so we can skip that, no problem. I do think there's some advantage to being able to play the teams that squeaked into the playoffs in the first round. In a 12 team league, I think it's safe to say that the team with the best record after 13 weeks is significantly better than the 8th best team, and would probably win 7-8 times out of 10. That's pretty great given how random fantasy football is often prone to be.
I'd have to see if this is even possible (adjusting the schedule 11 weeks into the game), but is there actual interest in this? I'm indifferent.
Nah it's just a software limitation. You have several options, and it looks something like this:
1) # of teams
2) # of teams making playoffs
3) # of rounds/matchup in playoffs
And it then makes it for you.
Well, I guess I'd say if your record is good enough that you can set yourself up for the playoffs freely, that's a reward for doing well in the regular season. Trades that help one guy squeak into the playoffs and helps the guy with a top seed get better playoff matchups sound like fair trades to me. I think we can trust each other to avoid collusive trades.
