WW26 Lurker Thread

He must have used his vig-shot on Night 1, along with a second vig-shot by the village. One of them hit a wolf, so kudos to whoever made that shot.

Congrats you've deduced literally the only possible explanation. rolleye

Welcome Bert!

On the subject of No Nothing Jon, I think I can safely classify this line as misinformation, given the weather observed recently:

Quote: I was working on a last-minute post when he closed the thread, so I think I'll just check back and post that before the deadline.

Right now it's way too hot in Melbourne to sit in front of a computer.
IT HAS BEEN OBSERVED

Yeah isn't it winter down under?

I don't know, it apparently hit 300 K at one point last week tongue

The city is somewhat known for having quite eclectic weather, so a given season is not the be-all and end-all.

Probably a good thing I got killed off early, to be honest - been reasonably busy since the game kicked off.

Yeah I think Jon picked up on Will's Egypt namedrop, which in hindsight was also misinformation. So disregard my guess for Will's identity.

Well I've read like no real posts but Tom's posts in the lurker thread are pretty obviously BIGGER.

So Kate flipped village... What's Dr. Saul's plan here?
I'd almost think it was a desperate ploy by a third party. Or scum could interfere with his scan, unbeknownst to him. Well, he has to hang, regardless.

Muriel didn't exactly do herself any favours by speculating about this scenario prior to the lynch.

Here's what MafiaScum.net has to say about cops:
Quote:Sane Cop: Results are accurate.
Insane Cop: Results are the opposite of what they should be.
Once the player realizes they are Insane, they can produce effective results by reporting the opposite of what they discover.
Paranoid Cop: Results are always indicative of non-Town (Mafia, guilty, etc.)
Once the Cop discovers their sanity, they may stop investigating, as all results are equally useless.
Naive Cop: Results are always indicative of Town (non-Mafia, innocent, etc.)
This variant is more common than Paranoid Cop, as its results are less disruptive.
Random Cop: Results are randomized.
This is a bastard role and almost never used.

I would have thought everything except Sane Cop is a bastard role in a secret setup - maybe BRick thought otherwise, and this is one of his "setup errors"?

IF the game has bastard roles, and I had known that, I would have called for the game to be preemptively ended.

To my knowledge there are no bastard roles.
