So as Mackoti said, we're chopping an Archer in the capital if suttree doesn't accept peace. Should answer all the "why get Archery" questions smile

Also, we agreed on settling the copper city on the plains hill 1N of the orange dot. I didn't realise the wheat will be in our borders when the capital borders pop on T50. So claiming the cow with the plains hill plant is strictly better

so yuris what to do? we have an archer and combat 1 wariour in city.We can just cross fingers and hope.Man and sutree has such nice land:gemms wet corn...alot of floodplains and what he decides to rus ...Now i remeber why i dont like this kind of games...

Don't think we do anything just yet. Unless he has 2 Axes on the Galley, he has no chance of taking the city. Even if it's 2 Axes, chances are pretty low - he needs to win an amphibious battle against an Archer in a city on a hill. Unlikely. Next turn copper will be connected and we can upgrade the Warrior

By the time he gets to the capital, with whips we can have Archer + Axe there I think. But don't think we should whip now, he's 4 turns away, we can afford to wait

I just hope he realises his attempt failed and goes home. But he's probably all in on this attack...

sorry Ceil, I've been busy over the last few weeks, Mackoti is the one playing. Briefly - suttree landed 2 Axes, and was unable do anything apart from pillaging the copper and forcing us to build a bunch of units. We're 3rd in power rating - not where we want to be at all. But we're at peace now, and resuming expansion

I will try to update today, or as soon as I can

It already happened twice - I took screenshots for an update, then had to do something else, and never got to writing a report. Things are crazy; I didn't play a turn for a while - it ended up being Mackoti's game. Hope I'll have a little more time some time soon
