Well, of course. But a handful of longbows and a Castle might do just as well.

Turn Eighty
Same old, same old, really, we're just about full up. Much of my domestics have been spreading Confucianism, I'm going to boom in a deep deep beeline to Liberalism but I need Theocracy in my troops soonest; some 8xp 3-promo longbows in particular for upgrade bait later on. So that's a thing. Finally, I'm also solidifying my borders while boosting my hammers; Tarnation might well be a rare National Epic/Moai spot, weirdly enough...it'll get three food resources nonstop and no mines, eventually. But I also might do the exact other thing and workshop, hammer, HE. Moai for now...

Turn One Hundred
Nothing new in the cities department, Oxy got Liberalism plus Taj, we're coasting in second place. And no, no MoM available. Domination? Game thinks so. Oxy is no longer "North Korea guy, PB11" but instead "winner of PB14, game that combined diplo hell of PB3 with the drama of PB7". Hell man, you'd lose to him too. Anyway, turn pace has slowed to a glacial crawl and I'm up to turn...107? Now. But little enough has changed from this. I'm doing okay, Awesome Capital isn't as Awesome as it should be but I am the only other player working on Oxford at all. Get the lead out, Ruff/Q. Spoiler: The Great Person is a prophet. ![]() My second best city right now is my Moai city. Which sounds all cool and stuff until you realize that it actually terrible as I'm not Financial Dutch or Portuguese. This is what second place looks like... I might still pull this out...I'm keeping my steadfast and moronic ignoring of Metal Casing plus to beeline MilTrad; I've got Gunpowder and muskets now so cuirs incoming. Target: Someone!

Oh, you mean you actually post stuff. I thought you meant press as in rep. My bad.
Please don't stop posting stuff Commodore. You do have better press than most posters
Commodore was stupid with this game by not taking the philosophical trait. He would have done better even if he picked restricted with Sitting Bull. He just finishes music here so military tradition is open but Oxy is in a long golden age series and is near rifles already.
The power of bulbs compared to hand research is a big deal on this set up but a fast Oxford University is also big because the capital is a larger part of the entire lands power. He only got his up now which is just sad. His only chance here is to conquer Ruff with cuirassiers fast. |
