That was the last game of BTS I remember playing for a reason .

Back on topic, what are our options for getting a spear and another axe or WC out to the area NW of Brick by Brick? How soon could we feasibly do this and what would the opportunity cost be? Assuming worst case scenerio that the triple whip in the CivPlayers' capital was for a settler and that it's beelining the ivory location, how long do we have?
Additionally, how soon can we get a settler to that area, and what are our options on making that happen? We could delay novice's blue dot and steal that settler, but it would have to march across our entire territory to get back to the boat, so I think we can probably manage a new settler faster from somewhere else. I think this should be a priority. Without WEs banned, we want that resource badly.
Just wanted to comment on missionary importance. I think right now the most important cities to get missionaries to, after Seven Tribes which is already planned, are The Covenant and Starfall. TC would claim its food resources and SF would give us important visibility with the desert hill and let us chop a granary. Gourmet Menu and Adventure One are next, because they need it for the happy. Last is Eastern Dealers, which is about to get its border pop anyway.
I hadn't realized just how many free spreads we've gotten until I started writing this post. Thumbs up for the shrine! Have there been any foreign spreads?
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)

No foreign spreads yet. We actually got three spreads pre-shrine (in FP, TH, and HF).
We were discussing the wealth builds in the turn thread, and I think we should put Seven Tribes and Tree Huggers on units (chariots or spears) this turn, and Eastern Gem Dealers can maybe continue with its work boat

The TH spread came in right after the shrine. ED is already still building the work boat. I agree with a unit build in ST this turn, we'll be able to come back to it before decay after we finish HG on t104. It'll have to be a spear or a chariot since we need to hold the axe build to whip later.

Updated sandbox for T98.
I've put in the newly revealed tiles, given us contact with Univers, and put in the correct known tech bonuses (Monarchy, Meditation and Archery to Univers; Code of Laws, Meditation, Monarchy, and HBR to CivPlayers, though I might have missed one). I also had to exchange the hamlet under AO to a wines under one of the cottages, since AO picked up an international trade route in the sandbox. My proposal on changes: Tree Huggers goes off wealth, builds spear Seven Tribes goes off wealth, builds war chariot Possibly set Adventure One on a war chariot or spear M goes 1W and chops (2) O goes W-2NW and cottages (2) An alternative is to send one or both 1NE of Starfall, to road towards CFC. But that's pretty useless, except it allows us to get back to the corn quickly. We're going to delay the farm quite a bit due to that axe. Or we simply eat the worker turns, though we don't know where that axe will move next.

Can we manage to settle the backup horse tile on T104?
Gourmet Menu puts in settler-turn this turn (22H with saved overflow). 3-pop whip T100, after revolt. T101 the settler is on unused flood plains. The 102 on backup horse site. T103 settle. Adventure One puts in settler-turn this turn (10H). 3-pop whip T100, after revolt. T101 the settler is on unused flood plains. The 102 on backup horse site. T103 settle. So we have a turn to spare, and can whip the settler T101 from either city. I think we need speed here, so we can get the horse tile claimed as soon as possible. Having the horses connected before T120 would be quite valuable.
