Finally, I was looking at the plan and it calls to park the warrior for 11 turns. I believe it will start to lose hammers after 10 ... 1 per turn parked from there.

The warrior doesn't lose hammers. It's one turn off. I confirmed that in game.

For the scout, both options are fine. No idea what's better. Maybe scout in a circle around Tombola and then go off in one direction to meet neighbors?

There are two players with very dangerous rushing/choking UUs in the game.

For the scout: go W/NW next turn, then circle around the peak, pass south of Tombola, unfog the area east of the capital, then try to scout/meet players to the east. It's not optimal (needed to go northwest in turn 1). But we get a comprehensive view of the second ring of future cities around the capital and scout players in one direction. I'd also hate to neglect to scout the tiles immediatly north west of the capital. it's possible the two land masses connect there. If so we should know about it. what do you say?

sure ... maybe end up on that forest hill 1 tile N of the peak ... and we can see more coast.

This map could be very snakey ... or lots of smallish islands.

Wow, that UI color is really ... bright?

It is purple ... because Viccy loves purple. And she is Royal. So purple. Just like my Japanese UI is red! It also helps me know which game I am starting / playing.
