Lurking the Seven Seas

As discussed in their thread, in the end, they would have had all information with a proper and carefull step by step movement.
But 'rushing' to get the information had lead to 'sub-optimal' scouting (losing a potentiel range attack and doing an early un prepared attack).

As I wrote, that could have been ugly if there were privateers hiding behind being discovered by chance from ending on the 'wrong' tiles...

I would count empty hexes to be "information" so I would consider that reload to be illegal then. I would suggest skipping a ranged attacked on a full-health unit next turn as punishment.

It's time for thrawn to do something. Roland isn't going to appeal this so just post the punishment in his thread. popcorn

I am still wondering about privateers.
- visibility.
Looking at woden thread if seems that traders can see them (the one he saw and shot by Geneva ).
If that is true Williams probably doesn't know since he has placed privateers next to 2 traders this turn and in places where they will be killed for free.

- flanking bonus
Arr flanking bonus visible for (other) invisible units next to them.

So woden should see the eastern one by Geneva (next to trader), if pretending to attack with Ironclad (instead of shooting) should see a flanking bonus and probably discover most of the pack (if enough boats are close enough)...

Japan is dead. I would think the remaining also-ran team would be able to play spoiler if they want but they seem content to just sit back.

They won? A bit too soon. The best move they made was to throw away ijubljana's position in order not to split their blob.
