Krill has a huge stack of HAs outside my city, and a stack of catapults a turn behind. I've got about a dozen units, half of them spears. Depending on what next turn looks like I think I'll just unleash it all against Krill's stack next turn. Point being that if I can take a chunk out of Krill's army then maybe this isn't a laugher.
Sorry that I didn't put my A game forward here. This was more like my D-minus game
Very interesting situation here. novice moves between pindicator and Krill, so he could actually take pindicator's capital before Krill can do anything about it and they're still in enforced peace...

Novice only has 7 HAs which can hit the city, though. Its impossible for him to take the city...

Well Pindicator did say he was going to attack Krill. So Noivce has a chance to walk in and grab it. Probably razing it since Krill has so many HAs.

I kind of assumed he wasn't going to attack out with the spears because Krill has axes in his stack. I guess if Pin just wants to commit suicide...

novice's conquest here seems horribly exposed. Even without Krill's wrath in the bargain, it's a large reach that is exposed on all sides.
If pindicater suicides to the extent that another player can just walk in and burn, then that's rather poor sportsmanship.

Looks like a great maneuvre from Serdoa from what I can see in Commodore's thread. I guess Commodore just expected him to keep going for border cities, if at all, not go deep.

I think I'm going in...
Hmm, the odds won't be right as he's got a river to cross. Guess we can't say anything?

There's a bug if u do the attack 2 tiles away the crossing penalty doesn't apply, which IMO is really dumb.

That's not true, it simply doesn't show the odds when you hover over it if you are not next to the city. If you attack from two tiles over a river then you can check the combat log, and the odds will be lower.

Don't think so. Can't argue that novice is a newb. And this is the crowd that most objects to lurker intervention.
