I think 1 day timer is pretty much our standard now

Rating wise that puts us 1778 - 1461 right now.

Personnally I am happy with us doing <2000 so Gustaran can play rather than limiting to <1800, we just need to advertise we have a wide rating range

Advertising doesn't help. If a large group accepts the offer, usually more people than necessary will sign up from that group. The chess.com system always gives priority to Elo and not to the order in which people signed up. So even if 10 opponents rated 1300-1500 sign up, they all will be automatically benched and not play if 7 opponents between 1800-2000 join later.

I like 2 days for intra-RB games (y'all won't abuse the clock) but for a tourney 1 day is better IMO.

How quickly do these start? I'd like to not have vital moves over Thanksgiving, but am in either way.
