Curious Civplayer - Mysteries of the DLL

The order is based on the resource type used for the bonus for the cathedral? Judaism/Christianity take stone, then islam/hindu take marble, the rest take copper? Thanks for the post as usual!

The order is the order as shown in the religion screen. It's just an arbitrary order that the religions are listed in the game.

Actually it's the order in the ReligionInfo.xml that is responsible

So what you're saying is that you can change the order to perhaps a fairer order in CtH? lol

I could, but then again I don't know what else could be broken by changing this order. Never touch a running system. smile

I don't think that's the right analogy. All of Civ4 is a running system.

I have a very niche request Charriu - how does beaker overflow work in a team game? If you have 4 players researching the same tech, with a large amount of overflow, and then each player starts a different tech, what happens to the overflow?

I would have to investigate this further, but my first guess is that every player is producing overflow individually and that overflow is then applied to each players different next tech.

Thanks for the post on religious spread, Charriu. thumbsup Very interesting. I had not realized that potential spread required a connection to the holy city; I thought any city with religion could act as a source.
