Nasty as a war chariot is, a spear hurts it badly and the axe cleans up. The archer+spear in HoT there might be able to recapture the worker, but that's it's own opportunity. Loading up the spear next turn? Perhaps. Or maybe there's another war chariot in the fog.
Keep applying the low-cost pressure, I guess. He's got to be covering this area with something, I'm absolutely fascinated to see with what.
Dunno, man, peace seems pretty unattractive right now.
