Why did you choose ichabod over matt?

If I HAD chosen Ichabod, hypothetically, which I hardly think is a reasonable reconstruction of the events that took place here recently, then it might have been because I didn't trust Ichabod and I thought he was never going to get killed in the day lynch, while Matt looks like he's in trouble anyway.

And I might have thought that Ichabod has given us a lot of posts that it would be very useful to know if they were village or scummy, while mattimeo had not given us many.

And I might have lain awake last night thinking, "If that skull is a wolf and he wins this game by trolling us I will never forgive myself my cowardice".


But that is all immaterial really, given the new circumstances that have come to light vis a vis the deep and enduring bond of brotherhood between Guybrush and that DAMN SKULL!

As much as I'd like to be here to see the resolution of this mess, I'll have to go now, celebrate my birthday.

Day commands posted in the thread cannot be retracted once issued, so:

Gazglum is now insult duelling Ichabod.


Duel rules

- A second vote will be created in addition to the normal lynch vote which anyone can vote on, but the only valid votes for the second vote are the two duel opponents. Gazglum wins in the event of a tie. Neither opponent will be valid targets for the regular lynch.

- Every post by each of the opponents must include an insult directed at the other duellist. Repeated violation of this temporary post restriction will result in an automatic loss of the duel.

- The loser of the duel is killed at the end of the day.


Cast duel votes in green and regular votes in the usual red. All votes for Ichabod on the regular lynch are now nullified.
