You can still use Ait-R and mouse-over the tile the city is on, the cursor will turn green and you'll rebase there.

Cheers for the tip, although I think it was a moot point since he had no aircraft with movement left.
Anyway, some interesting chats this afternoon. Firstly with Dave:
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

And a later chat with Darrell:

So lurkers... Not that I really want to be studying this, but how does the AP election work in pbems? When are the votes counted? Can we capture a bunch of Ottoman buddhist cities and swing the vote in our favour? Dave goes before Shoot - will Shoot get the opportunity to recapture the cities before the votes are counted?
I have to run.
Quote:Shoot, For reference.
I have to run.
If he voted Davy then obviously he opted to speed things up for everyone.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
Yeah I noticed that phrase too.

Obviously the AP is jewish - anyway, Dave has two jewish cities size 5 and 6 in strike range (the AP city is just out of range). Shoot has jewish cities size 13 and 4 in range, and several big ones just out of reach, of course. Also, Darrell's only jewish city is size 12 and is also just out of strike range for our forces. We only have one jewish city, a size 5 one named Side Fund recently captured from Dave. Currently we have 5 votes, Darrell has 12, Dave has 30 and Shoot has 86. Dave needs 99 votes to win.
I have to run.

Ok, capturing *and holding* the size 13 city (mackoti) is possible. Last turn it had three rifles and an infantry. It's on a hill which means it's harder to take but also easier to defend. We have 12 marines in range. Quick odds on the spreadsheet suggest that we might lose 2 or 3 marines, so we'd have 5 or 6 defending, plus one airlifted. We would be subject to aerial assault. And we're not sure what's on boats nearby, but otherwise it's whatever Shoot has in sunrise. Given it's more of a backline city, hopefully a bit less. World Series is size 6 and we don't know what's defending it. He's evidently moved units out of there, but could also have reinforced it. We could always go for Leningrad. We have a lot of units around there - 7 ready to attack and more ready to defend. Or we could just buy Russia.
