Going corn first is faster when you research AH, because hte sheep tile gets pastured one turn faster than a farm is produced, meaning you produce an extra 2 food compared to going Rice>Corn.

Ah, there is the difference. Just looked at the research part of the micro. I had been finishing mining (no need, I realize) and THEN going to AH, which means I couldn't start pasturing the sheep until after I already finished the corn and rice farms anyway. This explains where those few extra worker turns on capital cottages were coming from, because I had to move back to the FPs after finishing the sheep, rather than having just finished the rice farm right by the FPs.

Decent odds regoarrarr discovers Hinduism eot. If he doesn't I expect him to be hiding research by researching one tech, then leaving it until he needs it while he researches a second tech.

I would have thought so but then he's the only candidate for 16 GNP unless Novice changed techs. Meditation/Polytheism give a GNP of 19.

Well, its good news:
I'm not thrilled with the tile its on. We need an Obelisk to get it from the Fish city, which is not currently in the plan. It needs to be in the plan, that +1 happy is enormous. I think we need to go Mysticism after Bronze Working now. Updated sandbox is attached.

I am sure this is correct, because he is the only one that hasn't discovered a tech yet.

Krill, I added a worksheet to your google spreadsheet with my name on it, and there is one with your name on it. GES feel free to make one for you as well.
Obelisk before workboat really retards growth, I think we need another forest chop instead.

Reconsidering planting rice city 1S now. AFAICT, the biggest problem is lack of overlap on the fp cottages but short term they will always be worked with that extra happiness from the gem, so there is now a need for repositioning of workers after the rice gets hooked to road to the no longer TR second city and to improve those gems. Should be doable, and it doesn't affect slaving because there was a 1 turn delay in revolting to slavery anyway, and the fp for the second city will be grabbed by the capitals' borders after the next expansion.
In other words, I can't see a downside to changing the dot map.

That is a good find, rather than having to perhaps get incense early just for happy.

I think I can now pretty much match my earlier efforts with zero chops now. And the gems basically means that Myst and Maths can be researched by t43, maybe t42 if you push and optimize instead of rushing it like I did. I played it fairly loose as well at the end...
