[Spoilers] BRickAstley views the status and determines that it is not quo.

Also, if I get the Taj, that means that I'll be starting another golden age as soon as I get Printing Press for my cottages+. And everybody will be attacking me.

At least Sian has picked another target in Azza. Although I don't want Sian making any sort of big gain off of him either. Maybe I should consider some degree of propping up Azza in order to help combat Sian?

I got me some Guilds, so if I wanted to join slow and Sian on a kha-niggit rampage then I'd be able to do so. I'm honestly just as excited for the boost to my workshops on this hill-scarce land.

Have my 6th University finished last turn so Shiny Australia is working on Oxford, due in 8 turns.

Teching Printing Press cause I want more money.

Drafting is continuing in cities with good growth and a lot of extra happy. Due to that and his war with Azza, my power is almost equal with Sian now. I should think I look like a troublesome attack target for them at this point, which is just what I want so I can keep on teching.

I really need to decide on what sort of win condition I'm looking for, I have good short/medium/term goals but have no idea how I plan to actually put this away right now. :D

Well, Fin China with at least three available religions + three cottage-everywhere spots means that a culture victory isn't out of the question, but I don't think you have that much of a tech lead. Spaceship would be my guess, or moral victory.

Two turns out from rifling, with banks going up in every city at least size 6, which is almost all of them. No one is currently at war with anyone else, so I've moved the majority of my defensive forces to the borders closest to where Slow or Sian might make a strike.

I don't believe anyone is in a golden age, and I have the highest GNP before banks are even in. Once the first half of those start falling in about 4 turns, I'll REALLY be cooking that tech rate advantage.

By the way you can fix the spelling error in the thread's title now. wink

What spelling error? There's no spelling error.

Banks finishing, 1 more turn to rifles, and slow's getting steel. hmmmm. No aggression going on, or anything interesting in the event log.

Truth be told about the whole city dealing business, I'm not the biggest fan of it. I just opened my game last turn and saw the city offer, and kinda accepted it without really looking. It was also kinda an unsureity about whether i should accept it, and if he was just gifting cities to everyone else, so i just kept it for right then. I feel bad in retrospect but it's happened, apparently across the board now.

Though I've never had a big feeling for this game one way or another since I was out for a few months. This wasn't the best season of my life for getting really into solo civ games in retrospect. :P I definitely wanna play more and keep improving my skills and all, but I feel it would be better for me to work with someone on a team from the start of the game if I play another one soon.

The easiest way to improve is to get one or more veteran dedlurkers and then make detailed reports, so that your errors are noticed and pointed out. Or you can straight up team with one and talk to him a lot, I guess.

Well I mentioned the teaming up more cause of life situations. Or, with a new wife and a very busy semester of school and a baby on the way, getting very in depth into a game on my own is a time committment hard to swing.
