Commodore has chopped that forest, now im waiting to see if he roads or moves on. If he roads im going on high alert, because that is gonna be a real pita. 

Meanwhile, Chumchu is trying to make something happen with his 11 Horse Archers + spear + axeman + scout. I have both of the border cities stuffed with 5-6 spears each, so the HA's so long as he doesnt get his continuing d20 rolls.... shouldnt be able to break through. Judging from his power graph compared to mine, that is everything he has except for a defending archer or two per city. I miscalculated my research/gold so it'l be 3t till construction at this rate. If i can destroy his whole HA army though, i might go in sooner that planned. I really hope he tries to run past the border cities.

Alrighty! finally some excitement. I probably rushed to slam into his stack a bit early, but ive damaged most of it, killed a couple, and im threatening his capital in two turns. He can either promote and keep going forward where he will be cleaned up and i will slam alot of spears/axes/WC's into his capital ( which shouldnt have more than 4-5 defenders if that ) OR i sit right outside his capital with my large stack and wait for 5 or so cats.

In other news, Commodore offered gems for my silver, + open borders. I took it, and plan on having a scout popped from blackburrow to keep an eye on him.

Got some kills finally. Plus the stack is mega injured. Maybe it wont fully heal by the time i get a cat or 4 down here? Hmm...

 

Tech's look so much better/ like im a tech leader now that i have construction.. Heading straight for knights following this chumchu kill.

Chumchu has 1 spear, and 1 archer guarding a city behind his capital. I have 5ish WC's some injured, all heavily promoted.. If no whips happen, i may see what kinda combat luck i get vs the spear for the first WC. Otherwise its as slow march of catapults to the frontlines. Ill have my first 3 cats by his capital in about 5t.

Well chumchu managed to get another spear into his other city + moved his full hp c3 mounted bonus HA down as well. I have 8 cats that will be at his capital by t136. His defenses will be down before then from my 3-4 that will be there over the next couple turns. Im very curious if he will let me slam the cats into those HA's or not.

Ill have a total of 9 catapults built next turn. I dont plan on needing any more, and all other production will be for more WC's or for economic issues. Ive had to whip alot of cottage population away, but ill recover soon enough. Especially with one of my cities pumping out a archer every 3t for military police happy. Ill post more once im about to take his capital.

Chumchu attacked my stack of WC's that were healing across a river. I got some fair odds i think this time. Lost them all, but took his morale GG axe, a spear, and at least 1 HA with me. Ill start bombarding his capital next turn with two cats. ill have 3 or 4 more in theater in 2 turns. Ive also decided to try and eliminate Chumchu ASAP at the cost of current research, so i have alot of my cities setup to produce or whip WC's next turn.

Gavagai has his wandering chariot over on the far east side of my border, he might just be seeing where my border exactly is, but ive got a couple things in place to prevent him from trying anything with that lonely chariot. Im more worried about Chumchu getting some massive promotions/healing and running that HA stack ( probably only like 5 now ) into my backlines. Which is also another reason for the 2nd burst of whips/wc spam.

Wishing chumchu was able to see the turn had rolled, and been able to play before like 1-2am my time..

Guess ill have to stay up late tonight and hope. Kinda surprised he hasnt been whipping more aggressively. Does he have another plan?

Going to be growing back from this whip cycle onto nothing but Fin-cottages folks. Watch that GNP skyrocket!

Chumchu will lose his capital next turn. I also was able to trade a WC for one of his HA's so im happy there. Maybe he will throw another unit at my wounded WC and i can continue to get good trades?
