WPC finally managed to grow Hill to the Sky to size 10, and also received some land score. They now have 77 total pop.

The Spanish are strange, as always. They performed a 1-pop and a 3-pop whip this turn - both in the city of Umgungundlova (now size 5). The first might be a dry whip of a war elephant, but the second was from 19H to 49H, and is on the top of the production queue right now (and they've finished their turn, so cannot swap). I think they finally managed to research Horseback Riding.

The Germans whipped a total of 12 pop, 3 1-pop, 3 2-pop, and 1 3-pop, including two dry whips in Wasserburg (probably a scout) and Warendorf (3-pop to 60H, probably a war elephant). They still do not know Feudalism. They grew 4 pop on the interturn, whipped away 12, and now have 61 total. I believe they have 4 war elephants right now (built in Webringen, Worms, Wesselburen, and Weil der Stadt. I also believe they've whipped another 4 elephants this turn, in Wien, Wilhelmhaven, Warendorf, and Westheim.

CivFr researched Guilds.

CivPlayers didn't get a tech, despite 17 new score. They grew three visible cities, including Tlacopan (their NE city) to size 6. I imagine they also got some land score.

CFC researched Aesthetics and finished Notre Dame. They grew 2 cities, and probably gained a bit of land score as well. 124 total pop.

Univers grew at least 2 pop. They might have as many as 130 pop right now.

Let's hope all that whipping will further delay Feudalism for the Germans.

It only matters if the elephants delay us less.

I hope this is the last time we need to go over this. lol War Weariness is reduced by whatever percent of the tile culture that you have on the tile. It is not all or nothing. So the German woodsman axe that died incurred them 25% of the normal amount of WW, since they had 75% tile culture on that tile.

This is correct for only culture from the two teams fighting. But with third parties things get more complicated, unless I am misreading the code.

I'm going by what Seven said based upon his reading of the code. The CFC article is definitely not entirely correct. Why/how is it different when there is a third player with tile culture?

Dug around in the XML. CFC guide is wrong.

1. Combat
No WW gain for combat on tiles you have friendly culture on and the other guy doesn't. Full WW in unclaimed territory.

Attack and kill unit = +2
Attack unit and die = +3
Capture a unit = +1
Capture a city = +6
Defend and kill = +1
Defend and die = +2
Your unit is captured = +2

For tiles with mixed culture WW is proportional per iRatio = (100 * iTheirCulture) / (iOurCulture + iTheirCulture)
iOurCulture includes anyone on your team or with open borders with your team

2. EOT
After EOT = -1
After EOT turn at Peace = x 99/100 rounded down

Pretty sure this is accurate, based on my code digging.

Also, if someone could post the WW numbers we can see if CFC/CivFr are actually fighting.

Okay, so only your (and friendly OBers') tile culture is compared with the enemy's tile culture, and third parties' tile culture is ignored. That's straightforward.

CFC had 2 in WW with CivFr last turn, reduced to 1 when they started this turn. I generally check every turn, but I don't mention automatic changes.

Yes, but 'your culture' is you + everyone with open boarders with you.

Anyway this shouldn't happen frequently. In most cases: 'War Weariness is reduced by whatever percent of the tile culture that you have on the tile' is accurate.

Also, I could be remembering wrong, I don't have the computer with the code to look through with me this week.

EDIT: Thanks kjn
