[Eitb spoilers] Miguelito's fortune hangs on a thread

Watch out for Treant spawns due to you moving into the ancient forests. It seems like a low probability event, but is pretty annoying when it does happen.

Especially as I am not too sure how it is handled in case of stack moving. If you have no choice other than step on a forrest, you definitively should do it with a single unit first (and then move the stack if no Treant)...

Thanks! I think I don't really have to step on ancient forests, but I just remembered the world spell, which already cost me last game lol... does Arcana Lacuna prevent him from triggering it? Would be worth considering....

Yes, Arcane Lacuna blocks all spells except yours (including world spells).

He absolutely did cast his worldspell immediately, fool me twice lol...

He killed three swords, including both of our awesome C3 guys, without losses frown

Let's see how they fare against fireballs though.

Here's young Harry Potter casting the Patronus spell:

2 fireballs got one treant down sufficiently for adept Neville to get sufficient wizard XP, and the patronus finished off the wounded one underneath. 2 down, a gazillion to come.
coldrain also had cheekily settled our (!!) north, so more treants coming from there. It's gonna be tight.

Future Q reading, I'll say it again, treants need some sort of nerf.
Not to make them worthless, but atm they're just over the top offensively.
Give them city attack malus, remove woodsman 2, make them unable to use roads, reduce duration, or do reconsider base strength... something.
Not saying I'm giving up, although we may not be able to hold Hogsmeade... but it's a bit much.
Of course had I thought of Arcane Lacuna in time were just be taking over his land right now, blimey

mechanics question:
If I summon a Host of Einerherjar? - Patronus - and don't attack but leave it in a city, will it be there to defend on coldrain's turn? Turn order afair is Auror-coldrain-us-Bing-Q, so the turn number would increase.
I.e. when are temporary summons removed?

I don't know, but you can worldbuilder a hotseat game to test it.
There is no way to peace. Peace is the way.

I am 99,99% the summon will disapear at the beggining of your turn.So yeah will defend against his units.

About treants remeber those are world spell for a civilization and using that button sent his economy to the deep. I was on the  receiving end of MOT 2 times never was to nice but i never seen someone winning when use it either.

Yes, mack is right, summons disappear at the beginning of your turn in PBEM, so they will defend during opponents' turns. This is one of the big problems with Pitboss or online MP - only one end/beginning-of-turn processing for all players, instead of one for each, meaning you can do fun stuff like freezing units forever with Blinding Light.
