On the other hand, in five turns the Maddicator invasion might very well be decided, one way or another. Though compared to PB2, mackoti's and luddicator's cooperation is a wonder.
If YNL simply rolls straight though Sian's land into Fierce's, however, I'm not sure Luddicator will have the forces to resist them.

I haven't checked this turn's save, but I suspect that if spaceman attacks, it's unrecoverable.

Unrecoverable which way? Seems like the cannon shred the stack enough to kill it, but the Egyptian counter-attack will be a slog.

Cannons are nice but we just don't have nearly enough actual units to finish the job. I think they'll have enough survivors to wipe out almost all our units, and still have a bunch of units left alive themselves, that can then go capture a few critical cities.

So what would you do with the tactical situation? I suppose Drill II cannon get odds on knights even defending, but that would let the worthless town and Moai site hang.

Write off the Moai city, and keep making units.
Edit: drill does nothing vs knights; they're immune to first strikes. Barrage is the only meaningful promotion here.

So, one of the best-conducted, potentially most successful BTS dogpiles is occurring in a no-talking game? Huh.

spaceman's turn report was pretty detailed, but he didn't even mention the boats near their Southern treasure island. I wonder if the sleight of hand will pay off big for Luddicator

Perhaps that's why? Both parties have had to build up sufficient forces on their own, and they base their movements on the developing situation and their partner, not an out-of-date and ambiguous plan?

I disagree kjn. Luddite is clearly carrying the bulk of the army. And most dogpiles will work if one is willing to have 90% of the costs while only getting 50-% of the spoils.
