We decided vertical growth was superior. While the Granary isn't strictly important this early, we can't grow on a Settler and spamming out a bunch of warriors seemed a lot worse.

That road was free, put there by the mapmaker. I believe as a just in case to assist with the mobility promo given to the starting settler.

I do believe it was measured at 40x40. So if the scout beelined - it could have made 36 tiles, add in a couple from the warrior and it's plausible. Heck, if both the scout and warrior beelined away, it's even likely.

That does mean there's no way there's only one connection to the other civs, the floodplains direction must also be a connection.

Okay anyways, I checked our GNP on Fishing and it's the same as Mysticism. So Lewwyn teched Fishing last turn, no idea why. I believe N7 grew on 2 warriors and have 3 warriors total right now.

We've done a lot of sandboxing today and right now we can finish GLH on T45 if we plant in the northeast first. We could do Stonehenge on T49 in the corn city...and probably Pyramids in the capital on T51.
