We don't have religion in Dominos though, so no OR there immediately.

Read your entire thread to see what happened there.
I guess I should blame Commodore for your crazy move.
We weren't prepared for you, you guys took us by surprise.
Nice move to save your empire. I hope you have fun with our cities, especially TGL and the Hindu Shrine.

Yep, pretty crazy right? FYI you can double-check land points by hovering over our score - it tells you where your points are coming from.

One note - now that we have the peak under our cultural control, that does most of the fogbusting for us. We really just need one unit on the western side of the island. We can use one of the Impi that just moved up to TGIF.
I'm also definitely on board with getting the WB out of Dominos.

Yeah, sorry man, that was genuinely bad luck. There's no way you could have been prepared for a surprise like that. Honestly, you guys had more military on hand than I would have had in your position. If we had stayed and defended there's no way we could have lasted longer than T150 (and that's probably pushing it) with catapults and Ballistaphants incoming from a civ with 4x our population... so we took the big gamble. Thanks for playing it out.

Few shots from the most recent turn. I opened the turn to see this offer from Serdoa:
We took it. This'll delay Monarchy slightly, but we've got a big happy cap now that India is gone, so overall this won't slow us down. I also opened to see an OB offer from Commodore. I closed it at first... Then Pindicator and I talked it over, and we decided to re-offer it.
Tacked on the map offer just in case there's something new and interesting out there. This galley needs to go fill out the rest of our contacts:
I've been trying to get the bulk of our eastern military back inside our borders because we're paying quite a bit in unit supply still. So we've got a bunch in FG. I think the plan is to leave the impi + an axe behind, and ferry the rest over to the mainland. Also, the northernmost galley (with the Impi sign on it) needs to go back north and sentry to make sure Xenu doesn't do anything crazy. He was floating around with 2 galleys, and if he gets frisky. I want us to have a half dozen turn warning. No reason not to. I think the rough plan we discussed is two plant two more mainland cities, then once we have Triremes to adequately defend ourselves (MC will come after Monarchy), we push for silk and other islands. In global news:
1) Brick and Serdoa generated GG at the same time. We don't know the status of the Xenu/Brick war, but Brick/Serdoa seem to have started a squabble. This coincides with a Serdoa GA launch + the gold loan from us.
2) After taking this picture, Brick lifted a city off Serdoa according to Civstats. Surely this is the old Xenu city that Serdoa sniped. Interesting.
3) Someone finally circumnavigated - obviously Plako or Slowcheetah.
4) If you look closely at tile yields, Plako is in an MoM-enhanced golden age. From looking at his tile yields, Slowcheetah is currently doing the same. Golden ages for everyone!
Here's our south right now:
Apologies for lack of resource bubbles. We whipped DQ. Sucks to whip off the Silver, but growth is top priority right now. That farmchop will be perfect for DQ, as it'll easily bring the Lighthouse within 1 pop whip territory. Then it can quietly just grow onto FIN coast while we take care of some more pressing improvements elsewhere.

We blame Commodore for everything already, so the more the merrier
Sorry about it the crazy invasion, when I hatched the idea I knew you would probably hate us for it. Thanks for fighting on to the end and being a good sport about it.

Nah, I thought it was a brilliant move from a gameplay perspective. I admit I did classify it as a dick move on a personal level but I wouldn't worry about it. No blood fued here. Still haven't finished reading the thread yet (on page 70) but have to agree...you guys got shafted by starting next to " the human Montezuma"...if I recall the term correctly. Anyway, glhf.
