I found that bear ...
I think move onto the corn next turn and then consider where to move for the 2nd move ... similar to this turn.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

This map seems really rich. Double worker start will pay off big time.

We lost power 6pm Wed after some strong winds took down some trees. Across the state, 200k houses lost power. It came back at 12:33pm today ... 18.5 hrs. We were fine ... just painful with no electricity ... no hot water, no coffee, etc.
We have lots of little LED lanterns that I fished out ... really must think about a generator.

Proposed scout move next turn is good.
The corn is exactly what I was hoping to find. It makes an early 3rd city to the east viable.

Already a new turn.
I moved the scout 1NW as you suggested revealing two unremarkable tiles (unless they have copper I guess). Bear was not to be seen.
Since the only tile eastwards that was safe was the initial one I moved the scout back on that. Next turn we can go east to find Amicalola's city. All remaining dark tiles in the area are forested so presumably they can't contain copper.
Demographics remain unchanged.
Does this mean we each invested 8 espionage into the other?

Realms Beyond was playing a very early inter forum game and we had one tile that was fogged after a bunch of turns. Turned out that was where our copper was .

Bear willing I would like to move the scout 1NE on the flood plain and then go 1SE on the forest. This way we will see the bear in time unless it is out of range in the first place. Scout will then be on the same tile as 3 turn prior.
I will do some detailed micro plans next week when we see copper (and I have vacation). Right now there is too much uncertainty. It may be advisable to move the pig/cow city 1E which gains 2 forest, costs 2gpt from trade and allows better placement of the western city you want to found (allows sharing of wheat). If copper is in a really convenient spot it may be better to found the copper city first which could even allow researching Wheel before Animal Husbandry.

Moved scout to flood plain ... bear was where he was 2 turns ago ... left scout with move to go ... on to forest or NE again so he can reach spice hill.
Barbs stop other barbs from materializing ... probably not two around at the same time.

NE is fine with me. It is indeed quite unlikely to meet another animal.

When you are playing the turn can you post a screenshot of demographics?
