[SPOILERS] Laconic plakonic

Slowing him down was the goal. Now the question is, if I can benefit from their weakness enough to compensate the sacrifices I did had to do. I gained defensible border, land and weak neighbor. I lost the hammers on Chariots and quite a bit in suboptimal settling for this point of the game. I also forced a neighbor that has very little to lose i.e. his main goal will probably be killing me not winning this game.

I do belive I got keys to win this game with this, but it will be a long road and many things can go wrong.

3 warriors currently there. That city isn't falling.

Started pillaging. Dalphir offered peace for his world map. Not yet time to accept that.

Where will the Held's settler go?

Oh man, I am just cringing at the thought of having two food tiles pillaged at this point.

My workers are all in NW so I pretty much had to settle Fish/clams city behind Vantage. It is ok since that city will make good Moai city that I can get quite early up.

Yeah. Feeling sorry for Dhalphir. He didn't know what he was getting when joining in. It is the brutal fact that I need to hit him as hard as I can now when I can do it cheaply so that he wouldn't be able to arrange effective revenge. Ivory is bad news to me. Even nerfed War elephants are pretty annoying units. I'll try to delay him getting them online as much as possible.

There was 1st actual fight this turn and Dhalphir has horses now. There is only Chariot defending his Capital and another coming from the north.

Almost forget to check, but Dhalphir has iron. Too bad.

Some idiot played my last turn and decided that it is good idea to try to Chariot to kill Dhalphir's wandering warrior. 75% odds surely must be enough so that backup unit is not needed. Well obvivously warrior won and there wasn't another unit to finish the warrior off. To be fair this would have felt like a genious move in case I would have won lol.

Otherwise made 1-1 Chariot exchange near his capital (This was as expected) and moved my 2 other Chariots on pigs hill near Serdoa's capital and can probably pillage it unless Dhalphir gives me his world map against peace. Anyone else having a deja-vu feeling from PB8?
