Cool.
Missing strat resources: thewannabe - aluminum, coal dantski - coal molach - coal uranium - gavagai, OH fish orphaned by capitals: one 4 tiles NW of molach (player 4) if SIP, one 3NW of OH (player 9) if he settles on the PH (in addition to the clam). none of that affects the starting screenshots ofc, just want to mention it before i forget. based on starting techs, everybody's picks look OK, there's nothing where a player is screwed without civs that have a tech for one of their food resources. Also, ouch. Horse to water, can't force drinking. When would you *ever* choose Hammurabi of Persia over Elizabeth of Arabia in a normal-scale game?

(for anyone wondering what this means - for an MP game, as Commodore has done here, you have to generate a totestra map 1 or 2 sizes smaller than the size you actually want because the maps it generates are so insanely big) (November 1st, 2015, 21:11)Commodore Wrote:(November 1st, 2015, 18:50)Bacchus Wrote: Hahaha, Gavagai Agg Zulu, neighbouring starts -1 qualityI'd be more scared of Cre Odeons + Agg Phalanx, but my first win was Kublai Khan of Greece so I'm biased. Well, Org won't be too bad for him at least, and hopefully with Agg and Immortals he won't get murked by barbs as easily? At least he isn't picking Lincoln...
Man, REM's start really is fucked... maybe we should give him a plainshill to plant on? Or, at the very least, change that grasshill forest 1S of his cap to a plainshill forest?
I also just realized we gave Harry a choice w/ Egypt and then Gav choices of Agg Impi and Agg Phalanx
It's not that bad, really. The map is big to dissuade aggression, Gav specifically is in no position to use Impis, and Agg Impi's against War Chariots is ok in any case
On REM's start -- he has a choice of a Fin leader, no pressure on him in terms of settling speed, and a choice of who to conquer a little down the line. I think his start is just right.
Agreed, and as slow as it is, it'll be a fine Financial capital with time.
