I know turn 150 is approaching, but it's nice to see that somebody already thinks our capital is #1. From www.nba.com/powerrankings/
Go Blazers!
Nakor played. Took all of six minutes and did zero whips. But I think we may see that change soon. You see, there's something different about this turn:
The big question is "Does he have HBR?" Hey, it would have been great is we had remembered to switch EP over to Nakor (I put it on mackoti this turn, since we were just dumping all our points into Fintourist.) I'm willing to bet he does not, but I think we have a couple turns left at most before elephants show up. And it won't be enough to save his capital - no new units in that city this turn either.
Also, he's advancing with his praets too!
Not to worry, we have a longbow north of Gators, and an axe in the city that can be upgraded. Also, we can choose to attack Smoke Spine if we want - it has 5 defenders and we have 6 knights in range.

I don't think calling that city by a different name every turn is a particularly good running joke...

I think he's referring to the fact that we're seeing a catapult for the first time, implying he has Construction. He also has ivory, so he's questioning whether or not he can build Elephants, which would be particularly nasty for our Knight-heavy army.

I kind of love it. I was just starting to wonder if it was intentional.
Anyway, I'd just as soon wait for a catapult for Smoke Splinter. Given it's on a hill, we could lose a Knight or two on it, and if we can avoid that it would be nice. But I'm not completely opposed to just attacking it and being done with it.

I'm going to plan on doing it when I get home for lunch in an hour or so. If you'll be around I can stream so you can follow along and comment?

Nope, another down south with his extra iron unfortunately.
Pindicator - playing now. Will report in a bit. May not finish the turn, but I'll do as much as I think is easy to do without discussion.

Are Elephants still that good?

Yeah, even at strength 7. They're the only units he's capable of building that can get odds on our Knights.
It's gonna take some time for me to write up the report for this turn. A... lot happened. In a good way. And I'm only going to be able to finish the tactical half, pindicator.
