Aggressive could get you in trouble is one reason that comes to mind.

Are they both blind dates? If so, bring your laptops so you can plan more when you meet up with each other.

This thread has taken quite a turn ![lol lol](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif) . That's basically tradition for us, though, so hey, just another day.
So I did take some screenshots, but didn't have enough time to edit and upload them, so here's a quick summary of what I did.
The Battle of Cold Rocks Hold
C1 Knight vs C2 5.7h Praet (88%) - WIN (6.6h)
C1 Knight vs CG1 Archer (96%) - WIN and capture (flawless)
A forge survived, nothing else. First city without a granary. Forge is nice though to capture in such a good production city. Anyway, I also nailed the Chariot with a weaker Knight:
C2 5.6h Knight vs Chariot on copper (96%) - WIN (4.3h)
So from there I did three things.
1) I moved a full strength knight up onto the hill that overlooks Imre Stand. He has 4 random units in it. He does have a spear in it (I don't think it's promoted so no worries), but the rest are completely non-threatening. However, most of our Knights here are pretty shot-up. I'll come back to this.
2) I moved Chris Davis (axe) onto the hill that overlooks the "NakorCity" that we've had marked in the jungle for awhile. It just has an axe/archer pair. This is 20% defenses and flatland, so it'll be easy to blitz.
3) I staged units to hit Smoke Spittle next turn. We've got a cat and something like 6-7ish Knights (1-2 of them are only like 3/4ths health, but plenty good enough). So just promote the cat, slam it into the stack, then hit the city with Knights.
So here's what I think we should do. This turn, we pile the remaining southern Knights into Cold Rocks Hold. Let them hang for a turn or two and heal up a bit. Nakor isn't whipping those southern cities anyway. Next turn we capture Smoke Slipper with our northern group of Knights. We use that same northern group to capture NakorCity in the jungle - we'll only need like 4 of them at the most. Then once we feel they've healed enough, we use the southern Knights to take Imre Stand.
How's that sound? Sorry that this write-up isn't very lurker-friendly, this is mostly for pindicator's benefit. I haven't finished the turn, I've basically just done that part, and that's all I can do for now.

Finished up the turn. Some highlights:
Denied. No, I don't want to help you grow your cities.
Also, before you panic (like I did) about the huge gpt, I'm pretty sure he's running mass Wealth builds. MFG has skyrocketed, power has not. Our gpt right now at 0% science? +185
I did start thinking about our tech path of Aesthetics -> Literature (-> Compass) -> Optics. (Compass is in parenthesis because I forgot it exists until I looked at F6.) I started wondering "Maybe we should tech Paper instead?" And then wondered "Who else has teched paper?" Which led to this discovery:
Dear god, I hope he is going for Liberalism and builds Taj. Also, what a juicy target for zerkers
I hope this plan didn't go up in smoke (PUN!) because I forgot to mention the cultural percentage of that road tile. It's going to swap to Nakor next turn, so I moved the catapult a 3 knights onto the tile. I hope that's enough -- sadly the longbow won't be able to join, but at least we have a shot to capture next turn. Also, where'd that praet go?
Not sure if this what you meant by the sign telling me to load up the zerkers, but it's what I took it as. I would use those zerkers as temporary MP for now, if we don't want to do this idea.
Or are we just going straight into war against black sword?
Part of me wants to say "Screw winning, let's just build a bunch of zerkers and galleons and HAVE SOME FUN!"

Don't you dare, pindicator. This thread is far too interesting and fun to follow for you to go kamikaze now!
As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"

Why, because then mackoti and Plako won't get it? Or for some other reason?

Precisely.
If dtay ends up running away with this thing then hats off to him. I'm more scared of mackoti.... period. If dtay is better than mackoti then heaven help us all
