Scooter - are you okay with delaying Education a couple turns if we instead bulb Printing Press and not starve Red Wings? PP comes at the same time, Edu like two or three turns later. And we save 2 or 3 pop at Red Wings.
Need to know this before the turn rolls

Yes, I am. There are plenty of things our cities need to build that delaying the round of universities certainly isn't hurting us significantly.

At 6 specialists we get -1fpt. That will let us generate 18gpp/t and get us a Great Scientist in 9 turns.
eot149 - 158gp pts. 17 food in box
eot150 - 176gp. 16f
eot151 - 194gp. 15f
eot152 - 212gp. 14f
eot153 - 230gp. 13f
eot154 - 248gp. 12f
eot155 - 266gp. 11f
eot156 - 284gp. 10f
eot157 - 302gp. 9f
We can' speed it up more than that without starving. The best we can do at eot156 is to get to 299/300 GP pts. Ouch! But i don't think the great person will be the bottleneck anyway. I'm hoping we can get education around eot 156 and then 1-turn Alphabet before bulbing Printing Press

I think I'm going to delay the power rankings until turn 151. Reason being is that we will have Paper at end of this turn, and we'll be able to see who has which techs.
Speaking of Paper, Commodore just got it last turn.
