I'm Haram's friend and, from time to time, I'm reading all threads in this game (I think that Lord Parkin's is my favourite), cause I'm very curious how a little bit better player than me (I'm thinking about Haram, of course) will manage in compare with a few very good players on this forum (that his first game around here).

When I was reading this thread, I saw this (and few others) message of yours:

The more I think about this the more it genuinely pisses me off, by which I mean, I'm actually mad here and not "RAWWWR IM SO MAD AT VIDEO GAME but actually having fun" like I have been for the rest of this game (or my last 2000 dota matches). If Haram reacts like this, taking tactical advantage of the fact he "accidentally" cheated instead of offering to make amends, it makes me wonder if this is really the first time its happened. Was the fact that he sent a warrior to scout me just a few turns after I posted a big analysis on why taking the middle valley was so important to me also a coincidence?

I too accidentally clicked on another player's thread, slowcheetah's - on Apirl 24th, after picks were made but before the game started. After that, after apologizing profusely, and, on Krill's recommendation, I installed and set up the RB Chrome app, which prevents you from clicking on other players' spoiler threads. I take the effort to reinstall this every single time I restart my computer due to the fact that Chrome wont load apps that aren't on the web store. My friends have been telling me all game that "lmfao they're talking so much shit about you in the lurker thread" but I haven't once clicked to see what they're saying. (and no, my pals are not giving me spoilers at all, they think it's even more entertaining if I lose than if I win) In PB18, I had research visibility on NAME REDACTED for like 10 fucking turns but couldn't actually see his research because his spot on the scoreboard was too high to actually display on my fucking screen, and yet I didn't click on his spoiler thread to check. And yet, here Haram "accidentally" clicks the thread of the guy he's at war with. He probably only told me about it because he sees that I'm online at the same time too... Man, fuck this guy.

I ask Haram directly (by phone) on this situation and he told me, that he doesn't saw any usefull information, when he accidentally enter this thread (he realized that quickly and immediately closed this page).
I know this guy from some time and believe me - I never saw him cheating in any game that we participate together. I can't prove it and I know it's only words, but if this mean something to you, I guarantee for Haram's honesty. So don't accuse someone, please, if you don't have a strong proof, and especially if someone can not defend himself personally (cause he can't enter here).

PS I think, that there would be few better ways, if someone really want to cheat (one is already written in 'lurkers thead'), than entering someone's thread, when you're logged in on this forum.

In what way did I not expect him to be a good player? In fact, if you go back and read my thread, I've been a nervous wreck since turn 2 about starting so close to him given his civ and leader. His defenses were set up beautifully, far better than I anticipated even given that the surprise-factor of my rush was lost. I commended him (in this thread) about his defense and even offered him a peace treaty as kudos after his defense of Beshbalik despite there not being benefit to myself to it. I definitely don't believe he's a new player.

Whether or not him scouting me on T37 was a coincidence or not (at the time I thought it was just bad luck for me), the fact still remains that he took advantage of the more recent event, that he saw I had axemen coming despite not settling a 3rd city (via 3rd ring copper), by stopping the advance of his spearmen and choking the spot I intended to settle. It's hard to believe he would do so in a vacuum as had the copper been 4th ring I would have been forced to settle my 3rd city for it to prevent my second city from being razed; he would be able to move into it this turn and I'd need to sacrifice a chariot to keep it alive until my axes appeared to counter.

I would love to expand upon my comment, but I can't, cause I know too much and I'm afraid to tell you something you shoudn't know (I was having same problem, when I was taking to Haram).

Haram told me that he doesn't saw anything useful, cause he quickly realized that he isn't in his threat and I really believe him.
I even avoid 'axe' word completly in our conversation, to not give him any clues in case if he really doesn't know about your plans .

PS I'm really curious what will happend in a couple next turns.

When one is just a few tiles away from a player that doesn't have axes or archers, I imagine? Or maybe I'm insane and/or an idiot to expect he'd want to press the attack when he just traded 1 warrior for 3 chariots?
