If you can get it that would be great. Really busy with work stuff tonight.
[SPOILERS] scooter, pindicator, and Huayna Capac try some fast Zulu cuisine

Man our thread sucks lately. Life gets busy. But hey, let's make it suck 15% less real quickly. Caravels!
Gonna make it crystal clear to Slowcheetah we 1) aren't messing around and 2) we will see it coming if he tries something stupid. He CONTINUES to pile EPs onto us, and he seriously may have city visibility soon if he doesn't already. With all his Courthouses, we have no real prayer at keeping up with him, so he can basically do whatever he wants. That doesn't mean we won't shake our internet fists at him and generally treat him with kind but very firm contempt in this thread . Everyone wants to bully us this game. You'd think they'd leave us alone given that we are the ONLY team in this game to completely conquest a neighboring nation. However, we may not hold that title for much longer. Heroic Epic city is shaping up: Yay for silly multipliers! (pre-emptive technical note: yes I grabbed the JJs cottage and got off the 1/0/3 coast after taking this picture) Tha northerly states: Hey we'll finally have Ikhandas soon yay. Up next: Maces . South: I have high hopes for Burgerville - it has absolutely nothing to work with really, and I think we can still salvage a nice little city out of it. Culvers is at the happy cap, so it's working the sheep currently. It'll add the two grassland farms and also the grassland farm we're about to finish across the lake which should help it grow & whip in initial buildings. Then we grow onto our pretty watermills, mines, etc. Demos are about typical for us: Usual disclaimers about deceptive GNP apply
Played the turn. Not too much happening. Whipped a Caravel at JJ:
By the way, simple solution. JJ = Jamba Juice. JJs = Jimmy John's. Also, yay Heroic Epic: We're going to be producing several consecutive 1T Maces . Slowcheetah boat update: Couple galleys, no stacks sited though. However, he's definitely producing stuff. MOAR BOATS. Queued up another Caravel down in Culvers since we're going to need a few more. One thing's for sure, slowcheetah does not appear to be lacking in navy. We'll have Paper EoT, and then we can look around and see what the global tech situation looks like.
Well scooter, somehow we've survived until turn 180. How many more do we have in us?
Events: Commodore kicks off a golden age, Bigger wins a lot of battles, and slowcheetah has a great merchant. I got a kick out of slowcheetah's tile improvement choice, even if I can see the logic in it: We found an island (although it may not be anything special): And can you see what I see? Domestically there wasn't much, but I think we should work on getting KFC improved: Wish I would have thought of that before moving the workers, but such is life. We probably can whip some units while the tiles are being improved. Did a little Astronomy calculating: 10 turns to research at 100%. So we need approximately 1800g to tech through Astronomy. We have 178g and can make 287gpt. So 6 turns to build up enough gold, and 10 turns to burn through it all. Astro in 16 turns. Boy, it'd sure be nice if we could use a Scientist to bulb it. But somebody had to make it require Paper. Worst tech tree change yet... And as promised, Paper lets us reveal all: Analysis upcoming...

Forbidden Palace adds a star to the city's icon row (like the capital's star). That's easier to see than the building hiding behind the tile yields.
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)

So what's going on with Commodore? He still hasn't declared on Serdoa? Any clues where his stack went?

So I popped into the game. Turn not ended, so none of these decisions are final. Culvers completed another Caravel. I started a Spy:
I'm thinking we really ought to get this (maybe 1 or 2 more) over into Slowcheetah land and monitor his nearby cities for military builds. Any thoughts on that? I think we should whip TGIF: It'll be an instant re-grow to sz9 EoT. I moved a few more boats into TGIF. One note - Xenu has Feudalism. So we need to get a move on these islands. Found some more land! Fishing around Slowland: We should probably retreat that Caravel after this turn. I did show Commodore our Caravel: Though, he can see our techs now so it's not like seeing a Caravel is much of a surprise. Mero is not long for this world: Those are his last two cities. Did you start doing the backwards-analysis on everyone's tech status yet?
Started. And then got side tracked
Spies have 0 sight range in RBMod, and because we'd have to play before him to see if he is producing units in certain cities then I think the best use of them is to move spies around and watch for massed troops. As long as we have open borders I would keep actual units in the nearby islands so we can see if he's massing nearby. And caravels don't even need open borders; we can keep scouting the coastline around the near islands looking for ships. So keeping an eye on him shouldn't be tough, even without spies. I'm not sure what we can do against slowcheetah. He's got tech advantage, mfg advantage, and if he's setting himself against us it's realistically going to come down to how dedicated he is to a war. If he tries to keep building up economy and trying to produce units then we may be able to grind something out, but only if we commit everything to it.
