Cornflakes will win eventually because his production base and standing army combined are significantly bigger. Question is how soon he wins and whether other events supercede this.

Yeah, Cornflakes attack isn't really the sledgehammer I'd want if I were him. I still expect him to win out eventually, of course.

Thanks, finding names that fit in within the character limit was a bit of a pain. Here's my entire empire, shortly before it's fall:

Damnit, DaveV. After playing over a hundred turns never logging in twice, you made some sort of comment in his thread and now Cairo has logged in again...

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that Commodore is planning on attacking me next turn.

Sequence of events:
1) DaveV posted something innocent about my city names.
2) I'm already playing my turns in other PBs so it's not big deal for me to log in to this one so I can show off all my city names to DaveV.
3) But that reveals that Commodore cancelled OBs.
4) Commodore posts in his thread, I'm guessing complaining to DaveV that I log in after he posts in my thread, thus revealing the cancelled OBs and probable attack.
5) DaveV now posts in Commodore's thread, apologizing?

It's funny. Commodore posting something, followed very soon after by DaveV posting something in Comm's thread, just makes me even more sure about an attack. I could even log back in again and whip everything and move stuff around, since there's no turnsplit yet.

I'm not going to, but still.

This entire sequence of events is the best.

Yeah, I figured it wasn't something overt. A question about naming theme that was prompted by my pictures of his territory is kind of a clue, though.

I actually agree with this. I have never mentioned in a thread anything about what another player posted in their thread. I also don't think GKC should have said what kind of thing was posted by DaveV.

People have often posted things like "hey we've heard you built X wonder!" And I've never said that, because it is information that another player has noticed that you've built a wonder.

Cornflakes doesn't think he can win. In fact, he seems to think it's Commodore's game. As far as I can tell, everyone thinks it's someone else's game to win. Huh.
