There's an axe right on top of the spices location that will guard the upcoming city. It had to move over there to kill a barb warrior near our gold tile a couple of turns ago, and it made the most sense to use the same axe for garrison duty.
I'm not convinced that scouting this lake in the east is all that important, but will do so if that is what everyone else wants.

If we're planning on chatting up CFC / Caledorn, we could also ask them if they know if the plains hill 2E is safe - we could move the scout NE-SE onto the other plains hill

Looking into the barb situation with CFC - hopefully I hear back from Caledorn soon.
I'd also suggest we let the WPC/German thing play out a bit longer. I don't think the German team is in a position where they would gain significantly from stretching out that war - I think even if they push and nab a city or two, they'd be better off making peace if they could. WPC would obviously be better off with peace too... So I'd say let them bludgeon each other a bit more. If the German team actually captures a city, that might be different.

That's fine, but I'd like to move that axe further out, scouting. Let's reinforce then with the axe completing in FP after the settler. When the spice city has been founded, the garrison axe can start scouting if our culture reveals no barbs, since the replacement garrison will only be two turns away.
I have to run.

I moved the axes according to the general consensus and ended turn. The damaged axe moved into the new city while the uninjured axe moved NW-SW towards the stone location in the north. There was at least one other alternate suggestion for the axes, but I get mutiple contradicting movements recommended every turn, and only one of them can be put into place. Sorry.

Sullla, I suggest to wait with the Scout movement until we have the all green (or not) from CFC.

CFC still has not responded to our email and Caledorn hasn't really been around on chat. Annoying. Going to send a PM to Yossarian now.

Only the ones in the C&D thread. Nothing of interest happened, unless you count a barb approaching the German border.
Maybe we can offer them to enter their border with our spear and kill it for them. XP for us and goodwill earned.
I think Sullla is logged in right now playing the turn.

Played the turn, not enough time to write turn report right now. I'll have something up in a few hours. In the meantime, here's the most interesting picture from the turn:
I moved the scout northeast as suggested, because we hadn't heard from CFC, and I was glad that I did. It confirmed the narrow 3 tile choke point, spotted another horses resource, and a barb city in the area. Feel free to discuss now, more to come later today.
