That sounds like something Commodore would dream up

The Commodore start is 7 plains cows all on a river. With one flood plain.

When you get down to it playing a start is little more than playing Sudoku. Or at least, that is what I believe, once the leader/civ pairing is known/chosen. It's one of the reasons I try to be more sanguine about the early game.

Graphs on Cornflakes and Superdeath grows to size 3
Lots to unpack here. First of all, Superdeath. With him being the only person to grow to size 3, I suddenly need to be on the watch for a warrior heading south. I don't think he'll be aggressive with it - I would guess he is going for an opening where he whips his first settler out - but we don't want to let him be opportunistic either. I'll be pulling my scout back southeast to be sure - and to finish scouting the fog between our two cities. My warrior isn't due for another 11 turns.
Also, Superdeath does not have fish. At least, I really doubt it. At size 3 we'd expect 13 food if that was the case: Fish + Oasis + Forested Banana. Perhaps he's working an extra hammer instead of the oasis - but again, I doubt it. So what we do know is he went banana opening from turns 0-7, until he grew to size 2. On t8 he works banana and plains forested hill to finish the work boat and leave his capital at 3/24 food. t9 the work boat moves (let's assume oasis + banana for 7/24), and on t10 it hooks up a clam, now making 5fpt. Then it takes turns 10-13 to grow to size 3. If he had the fish he would have grown a turn earlier.
With all this we should have expected a warrior out end of last turn, which means he would get to our capital on a beeline on turn 25. Our warrior finishes end of t25. I doubt he does this, because he likely wants to protect his own first settler with the warrior. This settler, should appear ... end of t20 if he has BW by then but I dont' see how he can have the commerce to get BW by then. So why grow to 3 now and not get a worker out?
Moving on to Cornflakes. He's clearly not one of our fishmongers, as the food and mfg graphs make clear he's been working a banana until the first worker finished and then switched to the oasis tile. He's still on size 1 just like us. Not sure what he was aiming, but it does seem clear from the Power Graph that he is not going AH first or orchestrating some kind of War Chariot uber-rush. I would guess that he has opened Mining. He could still be going AH after, but more likely is BW.

If SD went Fishing into BW, he has no worker techs and IMP. Probably smarter to grow to 4, build a worker then prepare to double whip the settler. And he wants the warriors.

Do you want to swing wider and let scout fill in the immediate area?

We could. Seems like the area northwest of the pig is going to be a little awkward to scout if we do that though. Lots of rough terrain between the capital and that.

Scout2 could move W-NW then NW-N and ends on a hill, between that and border pops we should get all the FoW uncovered, no?
