Yeah, Yuri did not attack. Since his expectations for peace are insane ( city back and ~100g in compensation, it's basically going to be AW from now on. Suits us I guess.

Great library in 3t, still can't whip it.

Golden Age money bank has 240g in it, growing at 80 per turn.

Key thing, Dave got Alphabet.

He can tech - Monarchy, Theology, Civil Service, Aesthetics, Philosophy, HBR, IW, MC, Construction.

He has on us - Meditation (43b, we have this partially), Priesthood (56b), Alphabet (287b), Code of Laws (335b), Calendar (335b). 1056b total, 58g in the bank.
We have on him - Aesthetics (287b), Literature (191b), Drama (287b), Music (574b), HBR (239b). 1578b total, 242g in the bank ( worth 2 turns of teching at 263b per turn).

We're ahead 500b in beakers alone ignoring gold. The most important thing is that he's still lacking Aesthetic. We will win Great Library even with him having that Engineer, we'll have to whip it ( probably 2pop )on t86 to be absolutely certain.

Next turn we can whip TGL for 3 pop in the capital. It needs to 2 turns to finish normally, if I'm not mistaken. Whipping isn't that bad, because it'll almost the same as getting 2 pop straight back (the 2 specialists).

Whipped the TGL, finished Heroic Epic and killed a chariot from Yuris with our less promoted HA. Yuris has 10 units to attack our city against our walls + 8 healthy defenders and 1 injured HA (4.something strenght).

I think we'd get the TGL anyway, but whatever. Now it's growing time in the capital. I think we'll lose the Parthenon to Davey, but, Oh, well, we'll get 200 gold out of it and it really isn't that big of a deal.

Our GNP reached 400+ with full research. We teched Meditation and we'll head to Priesthood and Caste System. priesthood is finished just with the overflow. We can tech Civil Service in two turns at Max research, so depending if Davey rushes the Parthenon, we can fire the GA very soon for the civic changes.

If it wasn't for Yuris annoyance, we'd be in awesome shape. I bet Gaspar is getting ready to own Yuris with catapults while all his army is camping our city... That'd also be good, because we could steal a bit of his land, like Istambul and such.

And I told you we were boxed in. We are number 4 in Land right now, even with way more cities. It's the other players that settle very distant cities with little sharing tiles.

Dave built the Parthenon this turn, which makes for a fair amount of fail gold towards golden age that shall start in two turns ( one turn to tech Priesthood, one to get CoL with two prerequisites ).
