Notice he's finishing Chemistry this turn. He could very well have Frigates and Privateers on our beach before we can finish Astronomy. I'm pretty concerned about that, actually.
If you can find a way we can burn relevant mackoti cities without losing every unit and boat we have, I'm signed up. I'm unsure what you're proposing, so propose away.

Your fear of being invaded by Mackoti doesn't seem very realistic since he still has easier pickings.
Maybe you can hit him after Old Harry has thrown the kitchen sink at him.

Thought those resources bundled together sounded familiar . Anyway, yes dtay, I understand what you're suggesting (and I even pretty much want to do it), but I don't know how realistic that is right this minute. I wish there was an easy way to diplo back "NOTED" or something.

I don't have any fear of being invaded by Mackoti. That would be dumb of him. I do have a fear of him sending Privateers and/or Frigates at us to pillage/blockade our massive west coast starting in a few turns, and us being completely helpless to do anything about it for 10T.

Send him back another trade involving crab and whale. Make sure that it wouldn't be a trade that he would actually accept though.

Yeah, we can't do anything pre-Astro really. We'll need to lock down a plan at least a few turns in advance though.

Invasion plan #1:
Right now we're making 850bpt with -80gpt at 70%. I think that is a pretty good sign we'll be able to 4-turn Astronomy. So revolt to Free Market on t168, tech Astro on t172, raise money on t173. If we can get all of our galleys and zerkers to Utah by t173 we'd be able to upgrade on 174, stage on 175, and attack on 176. Those red squares aren't definite attacking areas, we can pick other spots if we think it less likely mackoti spots us from them.

Since Scooter is worried about the possibility of a counter attack sinking all your stuff, how would you go about making sure that doesn't happen?
