As mentioned already, CivRev is being made from scratch by Sid himself, so everyone who has been wondering since 1991 what another Civ game from Sid would be like will finally have the chance to find out.

I'm excited that Sid is taking up the design hammer once again. IIRC he wasn't as heavily involved in Civilization 4's development than he was in previous installments'. Civilization is a game of amazing scope and depth and there is more than one way to approach the concept. I would like to see what Sid's new vision is, I bet it will be refreshing and a nice new direction. Perhaps it'll be another game to take up hours of my time into the wee hours of the night

Sid hasn't actually had a direct role in Civ since the very first one. So it will be quite a change.

Trip, what are you doing here on our forums? Am I going to have to watch that what I say here is going to get back to the Beyond the Sword devs?
![]() I still miss Crono, by the way. I'll never get used to seeing you use that Naruto avatar. ![]() Sullla Wrote:Trip, what are you doing here on our forums? I joined this forum not too long after you did. ![]() I'm just looking for interesting Civ discussions, really. Apolyton used to have a lot of quality stuff back in the day but it's lost a lot of traffic. I've always meant to start playing the epics but boy, never got around to that... at least they're still going on, so I still have the chance. ![]() As far as holding back... don't feel the need. Nothing/nobody is perfect. I'd rather people be honest than fake. We're all big boys (and girls). ![]() Quote:I still miss Crono, by the way.
