T-Hawk, a couple screenshots of the known world were easy enough to hack up.
B'Rick, I agree with T-Hawk about keeping one scoreboard is simpler. The real fun (and accolades) are in good reporting anyway.
Screenshots of the world as discovered in PBEM31:
Immediate Greek Land
Known World (North)
Known World (South)

Thanks for setting this up! I've already played through it - is there a results thread yet?

No. The results threads happen on closing day, April 16th, in the Tournament Reports subforum. No spoilers until then! (It's not like the CFC GOTMs. We all talk about our playthroughs together at the same time here.)

Not allowing BUG for single player games is complete crazytown. I don't play civ without it

Lymond, welcome to the Realms! I happen to agree with you, but since I'm also a relative newbie I figure we can go with tradition for now. When I joined a pbem for the first time I thought I'd miss BUG terribly... but I didn't. All the info is still there, it's just a bit harder to find.

The only thing I really miss from BUG (I turn off all the options I can) is the dotmapper. It's so easy and wonderful!

Thanks. I've lurked on here actually for a few years trying out the adventures and FFH stuff, but didn't sign up officially until a year ago, and don't post much since I"m not into MP. Interestingly, I was not even aware of the BUG rule (until this thread) and used it anyway for the adventures I tried, but never submitted games since most of them are easy. Conversely, the FFH adventures I totally blow at
AW games on the other hand are very challenging even on Monarch, which is normally easycakes.
The point you made about the info still there makes it even more confusing that a non-gameplay changing mod like BUG is not allowed. (Yep, I'm aware of the point since I play vanilla and Warlord GOTMs on CFC quite often) It's excruciating not having the BUG info at hand and the dotmapping. Also, BULL provides a lot of additional info as welll. Honestly, it baffles me that anyone would deselect features as mentioned above. What's the point - it's so nice.
Anyway, since BUG/BULL can be installed in custom assets, game saves can be created such that players can opt to use the mods or not. So I have trouble understanding why the mods are disallowed. Makes absolutely no sense. So many folks at CFC use it and many come here too. And the official CFC games (GOTMs/HOF) you must use the mods (in the form of the BUFFY mod)

Realms Beyond history and culture is such that we consider it self-evident why we don't want to emulate the GOTM tradition

Well, I'm not familiar with the RB history/culture...and I'd be interested in learning, but I'm not suggesting emulating GOTMs per se or CFC for the matter. I can appreciate that RB has its uniqueness. However, I don't see that precluding the use of non-invasive mods like BUG/BULL for the use in what appears to be semi-casual single player games here. It's just seems stubborn to me or maybe some modder pizzed off an RB grand poobah ages ago and everyone is just holding on to these archaic ideals.
(I fully understand why it is not used in MP games as it is potential exclusionary, but single player just doesn't make sense. In fact, the link that T-hawks provides to the supposed SP rules about mods really seems to mention MP almost exclusively and is not very explicit or explicative on why BUG can't be used)

Ultimately, RB is at its core about upping the difficulty in unique ways while steadfastly avoiding anything gives an undue advantage. I also would say that the SP Adventures/Epics were taken as a much more serious competition before this became an MP community to the degree which it has. Anyway, I would say the primary reason that the BUG family of mods is still not allowed is the at the end of the day the mod provides a lot of information that the base game does not and being able to extract that information and having the patience to do so is one of the skills that the adventures/epics intend to test.
There have been something like 80 Civ4 SP tournament games at this point and all have been contested without mods (well except the ones where the mod was the challenge - Dan Quayle and the unused trait set games come to mind.) I don't really see any reason to start allowing them at this point.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
