You're welcome, guys. I've personally had my copy since it came out in 1994 or whatever. Unfortunately it's long been out of print and there's no economic value in the publisher reprinting it or making a Kindle version. I've been wanting a copy to read on my iPad, and as far as I could tell it wasn't available in digital from any source, so I did it myself.
I also feel like this book is so great that it would be a shame if it were lost in time, like tears in rain. Not only is it important because it's for MOO, but it's also a great work in its own right, and an important part of gaming history. So I don't think we should feel bad about sharing it.

Well I guess this wasn't welcome after all; looks to have been pulled. I apologize for overstepping the rules.

Oh snap, just when I do my bi-weekly check of the forum, it's pulled Any chance of me getting that guide? I have quite a few questions on how certain aspects of MoO 1 works, it sounds like that guide might address them...

It may not have been removed intentionally. A number of attachments to various posts in the forum have simply gone missing. Feel free to re-attach if you wish as there is still some interest in this.

Indeed, I know I didn't remove the attachment myself, and I'm pretty sure any moderator here would have at least posted something to explain their actions if they had. I've posted something about the disappearing attachments issue in the Admin & Mod Requests forum ( in this thread) too.
If the problem in this case is the same one I encountered, your attachment might still be accessible through your "User CP" (accessible via one of the links near the top of the page when you log in, all the way on the left) and the "Manage Attachments" option on the User CP's left-hand sidebar, under "Miscellaneous".
Sorry it took me so long to respond to this!

Yeah I had an issue with my attachments (specifically, the animated gif) in this thread disappearing a few times, so I eventually linked it to an offsite photo host:
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=6152
So don't know what's going on with the forums; I thought it might've been something that I was doing (like editing the post or whatever) that causes the attachments to disappear.

In thread RefSteel refers to, Admin Yazilliclick thinks he may have discovered source of problem and corrected it. So hopefully users can re-post attachments to this & other threads without fear of losing them again. I am still using Yazilliclick's suggestion of including a link to the attachment in the post just in case!

The file host shut down. I will not be reposting instructions on how to acquire the guide, and I ask you to refrain from doing so as well. I hope to be able to post good news regarding this sometime this year. In the meantime, Amazon has used copies available for purchase:

I know it's off topic but I can't make my own threads yet:
Does the shield penetrating ability of Oracle Interface stack with the same ability of Neutron Pellet Gun, Mass Driver, etc?
