New difficulty level?

PS : we have assigned disjuction priority values taking into account the AI bonus, and can change it any time we want if it's excessive.

Apprentice, Adept, Sorcerer, Magus, Archimage/us, Elementalist, Arcanist...

I wouldn't use words that are already somewhere else (in particular retorts).

Is there a setting saying after how many cities the AI considers you a threat and starts saying you've expanded too much?

It is calculated from the Land Size. Each +1 size allows, I think 4 more cities.

Ah so it's fixed? I thought it depended on the difficulty level.

The number of cities does not, but the amount of relation points lost when it happens does.

One thing I'd like to see: with 6 difficulties, I'd like to see a wider variety of combat tactics. For instance, easy, the AI just charges you, and uses random spells.

On mage, the AI has a small chance to accurately pick spells, and ranged units back away while firing before charging.

On wizard the AI uses one realm of spells correctly (whatever their primary is) but only has the mage chance of using other realms correctly, and now starts to use keep away tactics if the strength is low.

On lord, the AI uses all realms correctly, and uses keep away tactics against flying.

On extreme/master/archmagi, the AI uses anti invisibility tactics.

On impossible/lich, the AI already uses all tactics due to the previous difficulty.

Actually, I'd change that a bit: easy, the AI backs up while shooting. Mage the AI uses keep away due to strength. Wizard the AI uses keep away due to flying. Lord gets everything including anti invisibility.

Also, in my head the names are now:
Easy
Mage
Wizard
Lord
Archmagi
Lich

(30 characters and 5 spaces, exactly the same space as the previous 5 difficulty names were)

Those are 51 characters, as each of them has to be the same size. It's stored as
Easy5Mage5Wizard3Lord5Archmagi1Lich1
Where numbers are the amount of "spaces" between the constants in the array.

To speak in programming terms, it has to be a "String[8]" array if the longest word is 8 characters, even if the others are shorter.
