T59 Both Amica and SD have sent peace offers. I accepted both. It appears our #1 power and phycological posting have scared Amica off from attempting the attack on us.
The state of things.
The most important thing IMO is settling gold. We should beat SD there even though it will be close. If I were him I would attempt to block me off there and settle the gold as part of my border. Luckily SD has spent a lot of time whipping units and such. I doubt he has the ability to get a fast settler to that spot. I can get a settler out of ragga EOT 62. Move 63, 64 and move settle t65. That gives us 3t to end of enforced peace. We should chop a monument out first thing and pile a few units in there. Need to watch his city for a monument build. and we need a road between these cities. And we need horses for chariot-HA network defense. Horse city is #2 city to settle.
I chopped the forest by Gnash into a worker in the cap. it shaves 2t off the worker there and allows us to start a settler after the worker 2t sooner. Then we can 2 pop a settler out after 3t of build for a 4t settler that can go to horse. OR I use that worker to chop another forest into a settler and shave off another turn, but I don't think that's optimal. I think this worker either mines in place oor goes to finish the cottage. Both are important. The worker by Fop is still mining which is good. The worker in the north I moved to a forest that I want to chop into a worker out of gillie. Gillie can start the worker at size 3 next turn. After the worker we grow to 4 on a spear and then build a settler there to whip. Whipping 4>2 in gillie won't be a problem there because we'll have the fish and granary to help regrow fast. That settler can settle over by the stone copper.
I am unsure about gnash... monument or granary first? I think monument whip might be the way to go to make sure we have a slight edge on culture on the 2 tiles we share with SD at second ring.
Fop will whip a granary at size 3. Then whip a monument or maybe a WB to send to horse city so that horse city has immediate food? I like that.
Our scout died because I'm an idiot and assumed that Civac had killed the barb warrior with his axe. But he didn't and the barb killed the scout. You can see the scout next to the barb in my big overland picture from the previous turn. I just didn't mention it because I was preoccupied.
Demos:
Yo we're still in this. I just need to shit out some settlers. We are going to go conservative and settle everything available to us asap. All defense, no attack plans.
Need a galley in Ragga to explore and settler the East islands... maybe there's fur or something comparable to the fur north of Amica.
