I believe this is no longer true. Chatted a bit with Zulan and narrowed things down enough that I think he was able to find a fix. I do need to get him to add a few people as admins for PB80, but 78-80 appear to be admin-able on PBSpy again. I was able to pause/unpause 78 just a few minutes ago.

Got a problem. Can't load into the game.
I've downloaded the mod again (from the file I'm hosting), but when I log in I'm getting a popup saying "The save file you have selected is protected to ensure tha the assets in your mod folder have not been changed" and then the game "crashes".
There is no mod downloadable from the PBspy page. Could someone (Thoth, Commodore, Pindicator, or scooter if you sent the mod folder to Zulan) do me a favour and send me a copy of the mod file they used to play the turn?

The mod used was copied straight from that link, and I was able to get into leader select with it. Possibly just installed wrong?

Installed in mod folder in BtS directoy. Tried with what Commodore provided, same problem.
I'm going to reinstall CIV and see if that fixes the issue. I suspect that some of the work I've been doing to set up a separate CIV install on linux has screwed around with a few things.

Something's wrong here.
I've just reinstalled from Steam, used the same mod Commodore has sent and it's saying the same problem.
Did Zulan do anything to the server after Pindi played? Can someone else try and log in please?

The problem is that I've remapped "Documents" to a NAS address. CIV couldn't create the relevant files (as it lacked permissions, couldn't make autosaves) so when I logged in to the PB server it must have failed some tect and then kicked the game client to the kerb. It wasn't a crash. Resetting "Documents to the standard location fixed everything.
