[SPOILERS] The Peaceful Centaur: a Study in Possibility

Mardoc Wrote:I'm not entirely sure what you have in mind for our pack of Warriors out beyond the borders, so they moved more or less aimlessly.

They're meant to be marking/protecting the second city site.

Grabbing T38 now...

Not much to add. Mithecha is on our borders, but as far as I understand won't enter ?

Sciz has revolted to God king and Agrarianism, so we know what he's been researching. Not beelining Horseback Riding at all then.

Hill giants will not enter borders, yeah.

Ah - well, at least I only moved them perpendicular to the way they should have gone, instead of backward.

No, Hill Giants, even named ones, aren't allowed to move into culture. If we fire Legends at the right time, we might even trap some in place as a result of that.

Interesting on Sciz - I wonder if he's given up on the rush idea, or if he thinks that God King will make it happen faster, or what. Not that I'm complaining all that much smile.

So, as you might guess from my announcements with PBEM3, I'm very sorry to say I can't continue playing this one either. I should be able to hang around the thread on occasion and comment, but I can't remain actively involved. I apologies sincerely for this situation but I don't really have any alternative.

That's fine. alright Best of luck with your real life stuff; if you manage to come back while the game's still going, I'll welcome you back, but otherwise go deal with the important stuff in life. Games can wait.

I might reconsider the idea of Mercurians, though, without a second player to handle them. Unless one of the dedlurkers is interested in potentially stepping up to take them in a couple months, when they're summoned?

Played turn 39. Nothing to report except that scout #2 ended up next to a Scorpion, so I anticipate our unit budget shrinking a bunch shortly.

Education comes in next turn! As does our first Great Person! Probably AH next, while the workers put up cottages. This game's been so slow recently that I may have to read the thread again just to remember what our plans were.
