Starting save has been emailed to Bobchillingworth.
Please check the game settings and your civ technologies and units to double check that everything is correct. I've been over things a couple times but I hope this is good.
A final note on the map: this is not a mirrored map, I went for a natural map and tried to make things as balanced as I could but some things will inevitably fall short. I think I largely delivered what was asked for as far as distance, but it may be a little smaller than asked for. Please take any and all shots at me in your lurker thread, it's part of being a mapmaker. My goal is that every civ has multiple avenues and a reasonably similar chance to win from the start.

Everyone please double check the following to make sure that the save is as it should be:
1) Mod version 1.4.5.
2) Correct starting techs, and no extra techs like Archery.
3) Scout and a settler.
4) No contacts.
5) No extra tiles defogged.
6) Game settings in accordance with the first post of the tech thread.
I also added the general process of playing a PBEM turn in the tech thread, didn't mention it earlier but most of you have probably seen it by now since Charriu bumped the thread a few days ago. Are there any questions in addition to what is posted?

Also, for the first turn cycle you may want to CC the next player directly while emailing the turn to the tracker, before we confirm that the tracker is fully working without errors. Tracker page is at: https://www.realmsbeyond.net/pbem/tracke...ame=PBEM78

Bob told me he just played the first turn but the tracker page is not updated. It may be because Ruff added some code to check the subject of the email when it wasn't there before, I am not sure. But superdeath should have received the save regardless. (You won't need to have a particular subject line, don't worry about that.)
I'll talk to Brick about what's up with the tracker page.
