Its kind of like a superhero...Blackout Krill. I like it, we should pitch it to the right folks and see if we can get a children's book made !

Where's Ruff when you need him? His missus writes kids books IIRC.

Okay, so our second city is founded:
You can see we didn't have enough beakers to finish the tech next turn. I of course dialed research all the way down to 0%.

Nothing like closing a window before hitting "Submit Reply" .
Short story, we have Copper, location a bit awkward:
I'll dotmap during lunch. Also updated sandbox. Two problems were the maintenance being off, and me running BW at 100% instead of 50%. This appears to delay Fishing by 1t, but as Krill suggested running a grassland river tile (trading 1H for 1C) will fix that. I plan on looking at the micro through HG as well during lunch .

I think we are making 16 base bpt, that means with the free beaker we'll make 34 beakers in 2 turns. Fishing is 38. We made 16 beakers last turn into BW, so that is [floor]17*1.2=20 beakers and only needed 17 so 3 overflow, rounded down to 2 beakers. So we only need 4-2 beakers, 2 extra beakers from somewhere. We'll grow in Memphis and work a flood plain so that is 1 commerce we need, just got to find 1 more commerce.
However, I think that with the one turn delay in chopping we need to slow everything down by a tuyrn, and 1 turn pof production into a settler at size 4 is 13 hammers, exactly the same as a chop. So we only need 1 chop.
Sorry Darrell, think I fucked up again. At least I remember it this time.

Well, the upside is that Darrell thought that 2 forests needed chopping which would have completely screwed things up just as badly as building that third settler prematurely. That's not a big upside...
