It got reloaded due to a thunderstorm so you need to play again. I think we just let it roll for Oxy - he hasn't requested a pause or for LP to play for him.

I think he was just going in to End Turn.
Folks, Krill's point about the 48 hour turns is probably inescapable but I would be particularly wary of unrequested pauses in addition to the 48 hour timer.

Mackoti spent 40 minutes logged in, subbing for Nakor. He ended turn after being logged in for 38 minutes. It was his only login of the turn, and he lost it due to a crash+reload.
Are you saying we should have let the turn roll on him?

What was the argument against 24 hour turns again? I don't really see why this should be any different from games like PB13, multi-turn splits should be rare so long as people are reasonable and line up with each other.
I did vote for all four options though, since it's not a deal-breaker for me.

I'm not going to be able to get to the turn until 12pm (est) tomorrow, which is cutting it close to the turn roll if the current number stays accurate. A 30 min or so pause if necessary would be great, I should be able to play by 12:30 (est) at the latest.
