I already went over what PBEM gets that a Sequential Pitboss doesn't. Do I also need to remind you that Pitbosses crash somewhat frequently which never happens with a PBEM?
By the way, I very much doubt an error with the map can be fixed without a game restart even on Pitboss.

pitboss's can be edited via our Pitboss host Ramk/zulan without game restarts.
Love playing regardless, just wanted to clear up any changes in pitboss's that might not be known.

Yeah, there's a reason why almost all games are pitbosses. But we agreed to play pbem so carry on
Completed: pb38, pb40, pb41, pb42, pb46 and pb49

I know Pitbosses can be edited, but I don't think everything about the save can be (safely) edited. The game settings yes, but I don't think there's ever been an attempt to edit the map. I would like to know if the map can be edited on Pitboss if in fact it can be done.

i know a couple instances in pb51 where Ramk ( who was playing in game ) was able to run some sorta script and edit out any weird forest/floodplains/ect in the ocean that Commodore included. I know there are a couple other times but im having a brain fart right now.

Ramk/Zulan PB hosting is wizardy, and at this point I assume everything is possible until proven otherwise. It's very different from the pitboss hosting you will have experienced 2008-2018.

In that case it might be possible that the save could be edited without a restart to fix the game option and edit the tiles near Rusten. But most likely it will be faster to simply restart and replay the first turn than to figure out how to do that as well as take the additional risk that something else breaks with the game.

Yes, it's T0. Easier to just have pindicator edit the map and start from scratch.
